On September 13-14, Syke expert, Ljudmila Vesikko met with the Kyrgyz academic society to share practical experiences and conduct the workshops in two Bishkek schools.

The seventh  Syke expert mission took place from September 12 till 20, 2023. The main goal of the country's mission was to arrange and conduct training on water sampling and auditing the work of the field works during Issyk-Kul lake shoreline monitoring mission.

In September Project rendered support to the State Nature Reserve "Karatal-Zhapyryk" into implementation of the 3rd Project Board meeting decisions

On August 29, 2023 DigiLab LIMS training has been held for the representatives of the KyrgyzHydromet. LIMS DigiLab was developed within the previous Projects under Syke technical support.

On July 13, 2023 DigiLab LIMS training has been held.

On July 11, the Global Water Partnership in Kyrgyzstan has presented a textbook on economic instruments for IWRM at the Regional Conference took place in Bishkek.

The sixth Syke expert mission took place from June 27 till July 7, 2023.

According to the plan passive samplers have been installed on 16 sampling sites: 3 Son Kul, 6 Naryn river and 7 Issy-Kul lake, by
2 metal and 2 pesticide samplers for each sampling site.

The fifth Syke expert mission took place from May 26 till June 9, 2023. The main goals of the country mission were installation of passive samplers (collectors) along Naryn River and in the basin of Issyk-Kul lake.

The second Project Board meeting was arranged in Bishkek on April 5, 2023 and held in a hybrid format with the assistance of ZOOM platform allowing participation of more Syke representatives.

Working meting with representatives of the Central Laboratory MNRETS (national proftest provider), Department of Environmental monitoring MNRETS, Issyk-Kul regional Laboratory MNRETS, and Kyrgyzhydromet was arranged on April 4, 2023 in Bishkek

А one-day workshop "Water Quality Monitoring” took place in Bishkek on 29.03.2023 for the staff of Partner laboratories.

The forth Syke expert mission took place from March 27 till April  6б 2023.

On March 9, the Scientific-Practical Workshop “Modern laboratory equipment for the science and industry” organized by LLC «DistriTech» took place n Bishkek.

In February 2023 Laboratory of Kyrgyzhydromet and Issyk-Kul Regional Administration of the MNRETS took part in Proficiency test on Natural water analyses (NW 03/2023) under the Project support.

The second Project Board meeting was arranged in Bishkek on  November 23, 2022 and held in a hybrid format with the assistance of ZOOM platform allowing participation of more Syke representatives.

The third country mission of Syke experts took place from November 13 to November 25, 2022.

The first study tour to Finland was arranged for 12 participants from MNRETS and Kyrgyzhydromet between 24-28 October (financed by the project and WB). The study tour emphasis was on quality-certified laboratory work, environmental monitoring, and modeling.

The Joint deep water monitoring of the Lake Issyk Kul was carried out with the assistance of Kyrgyzhydromet’s scientific -research vessel “Moltur” and motor boat procured for MNRETS under the support of the previous KGZ-Water project between September 26 - 30.

The second county mission of Syke experts took place from September 24 to October 7, 2022. The mission programme included Joint deep water monitoring of the Lake Issyk Kul and a Gender survey.
